Thursday 11 November 2010 results:

Well....................what a fab group we had in the morning session!!!! so many of you stayed which was great!!! When merging the later sessions in December we should have the same buzz as we get in the morning one!

I hope you all learned a little bit about your Healthy Extra's, don't forget to go to http://www.slimming-world.com/, click on 'for group members only' enter your pin and print off that list with all those Healthy Extra updates - there are so many choices!!! it is easy to get stuck with the same Healthy Extra, however please try to vary it a little bit! I think most of you liked the Finn Crisps I brought in - couldn't hear myself talking with all that stereo crunching!!! :)

We had so many wonderful and fabulous awards in the morning group:

Carolyn Cro, Joanne Thomas and Sue Hodgkinson achieved their 1/2 Stone award (that is a whopping 1.5 Stone between them!) - well done to you three!

Natalie Bushell achieved her 1 Stone Award and was also the Slimmer of the Week for the morning group with a fab weight loss of 5lbs! - seeeeeee, it can be done!
(well done by the way!!)

Gemma McKenzie achieved her 3.5 Stone Award  (what a wonderful achievement!) - if you need a bit of inspiration then please talk to Gemma, she is following the Green Choice as she is vegetarian, so if you want any ideas then please talk to her! I'm sure she doesn't mind to help you!

The overall weight loss for the morning group was 52.5lbs and you gained in total 20.5lbs.

The evening session had some awards too :)

Keith Taylor achieved his 1 Stone Award!
Pat James achieved her Target!

The slimmer of the week for the 5.30 session was: Sadie Dann with a weight loss of 3.5lbs
The slimmer of the week for the 7.00 session was: Amy Silk with a weight loss of 3lbs

Total weight loss was 31.5lbs and the total gain was 13lbs.

I just want to say thank you to those that did make the effort to stay - I will keep saying: those that stay are doing generally much better with their weight loss journey to those that don't stay. Please don't feel you need to leave because you gained, we all gain at times, then it is time to get the help from your group!

I did mention it in one of the sessions that I would like to do the Christmas Hampers again this year, I would ask you to bring something in (low in Syns, prefered under 5.0) or mainly free foods/Healthy extras that can be kept.
For every item you donate you will receive a raffle ticket that will be entered for the Christmas competiton draw of the Hampers on the 23rd of December 2010 (you do have to stay to win it).

I will let you know when we start this.

Anyway - I want to wish you all a lovely weekend and a good week ahead. You know where I am if you need me.
