This week we exchanged some favourite recipes in group - I am sure it would have given those that stayed something to think about and perhaps try some of these recipes out.
The morning group lost this week 33lbs and gained 11 lbs
The Slimmer of the Week this week is Andrew Rose with a 2.5lb weight loss - well done to him!!! :)
Some brilliant awards were given out too:
Kath Bishop achieved her 1/2 Stone Award, Rachel Roberts her 1 Stone Award and Sarah Wade achieved her 5.5 Stone Award!!! - heartfelt congratulations to all three of them!!! :)
The Evening group lost 19.5 lbs and gained 12.5lbs
Slimmer of the Week for the 5.30 session are: Sadie Dann and John Doust with 1.5 lb weight loss and for the 7.00pm session the winner is Hilary Maskell with also 1.5lb weight loss - Well done!!
Just a reminder for the following weeks:
Thursday 25 November: normal times - please bring a syn free food in (store cupboard) towards the Christmas Hampers, which I wlll draw on the 23rd of December (you have to stay to win); for every item you donate you will be given a raffle ticket that goes towards the draw.
Thursday 2 December: weigh in only: from 10.00 - 10.45 am and 18.00 -19.30
Thursday 9 December: as above - weigh in only
I will be available to you in the evenings (after 7pm) if you need any help or support during these two weeks.
It is due to my other job that I can't be there for those two weeks, sorry)
Thursday 16 December: group times are as follow: morning group as usual 10.00 - 11.30 evening group from 18.00 - 19.30
Could you please bring in something for the hampers that is no more then 5 syns in total on this day.
PLEASE DO NOT BRING ANY ITEMS FOR THE HAMPERS ON THE WEIGH IN SESSIONS AS I'M NOT THERE TO ACCEPT IT.
And a kind reminder to those that have notified me or booked time off - you only get six weeks hols/illness with Slimming World a year (and that year starts when you started with Slimming World). If the weeks have finished and you still wish to take time off the back fee will fall in place.
Anyway - I will try to make some of that quiche next week for you all to try in the morning group and I will print the recipe off as well for those that haven't got it yet.
